Hi. Its sunday evening 23.10. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was fantastic with a lot of family time and walking in the nature. We did a geat 10km walk up in the Akamas nature reserve which is north of Paphos. Amazing scenery.
Anyway. I am wrapping things up here for tonight. Time for bed soon. But before that I am putting up a QSL counter on the home page. It will indicate the number of electronic QSL sent through the system since the launch of the QSL management system. I think a cool feature.

Getting closer
Just about one month before the Half Marathon run. I went down to Kato Paphos today and did a 4km interval training in full speed. Felt OK. Recovery time after any race has improved. Today my heart rate recovery from 181 BPM to 130 BPM was 1.15 = at least 40 secs better than last week. It looks promising. Tomorrow I will try a slow long distance of 15km. I have learned that you shall combine short sprints races with intervall training and a few long runs that your throw in.
The problem has been the terrible weather in Cyprus that has inhibited me from doing training. But it looks better for the upcoming week. Wish me luck
